Please reach me at jenny@embodied-healing.co.uk if you cannot find an answer to your question.
This will be an informal chat to discuss what brought you to seek movement therapy and what you hope to gain from the sessions. During the call, we can start to consider what your sessions may involve and discuss a health screening form that you will need to fill in. This will help me tailor your plan to your specific needs and take into account any past or current health concerns. If you are interested in TCTSY work as part of your movement therapy, rest assured that the call is not meant to discuss your trauma. However, we can talk about things like potential triggers, medications that may affect your yoga practice, and any injuries or illnesses that may impact your physical movement. The call also gives you the opportunity to provide basic health information and emergency contact information.
No experience is necessary and all ages and the majority of mobilities can access this therapy. Through collaboration we will work out how you would prefer opportunities to move and notice are presented. This could be lying down, sitting or standing on a mat or sitting on a chair.
Yes, as soon as your doctor or hospital clears you, you can start the pelvic floor health improvement course. This typically takes 4-6 weeks.
